Aspiring care is connected via a walkway to the wider village.
Our dedicated team is the heart of Aspiring Care. From registered nurses and caregivers to activities coordinators, kitchen staff and visiting specialists — every member of our team plays a vital role in supporting the wellbeing of our residents.
We combine clinical expertise with genuine compassion, taking the time to build trust, understand individual needs, and provide care that’s both personal and professional. Many of our team members are long-standing and local to the Wānaka area, creating a strong sense of continuity, familiarity and community for residents and their families.
ASPIRING CARE
A little history…
The vision for Aspiring Village started when Peter and Dee Gordon and their friends were talking about the type of retirement lifestyle they aspired to – one where they could continue to be involved in their local community, experience a holiday-type lifestyle and enjoy the company of friends and family. Like many people in this community, they were also aware that hospital care would need to be a part of this vision.
Aspiring Village is the culmination of this dream. Peter and Dee have joined forces with co-shareholders – the Anderson, Foster and Armstrong families who have over 80 years combined experience in the retirement village industry.
